FIELD RETURNS TO GUEST STAR -- Abby's (Maura Tierney) family nightmare continues

Back at the snowed-in hospital, Dr. Carter (Noah Wyle) struggles to get out of Chicago to join Abby while Dr. Corday (Alex Kingston) treats a family of patients who are severely injured by a truck driver while building a snowman. Garett signs for role in "Love U 4-Ever"

The new film co-starring David Cassidy is scheduled to film early next year [2003].  Garett's character is "Dave Martin".

Dave Martin character description: Late 20s tattooed rocker. He has been playing steadily for ten years and feels his band is ready to strike out on the road. Dave thinks the music’s message is paramount. He has had many philosophies for that message (as evident from the tattoos on his body), and he is passionate about whatever one is his focus at the time. He had a deservedly bad reputation as a hound with women when he meets Jenny, but he cares for her and remains faithful though still flirty and provocative. Ironically, he knew of Michael’s music career and thought of him as a role model at some point. He likes Billy Swain and is fascinated at how his presence completely unhinges Jenny’s thoroughly suburban parents. Billy’s presence gives him some valuable insight on the pitfalls ahead of his band but does not dissuade him from his aspiration.

Additional details will be forthcoming as they become available.

October 3, 2002

Garett signs to play in "Freak Experts"

The new film is slated to start filming later this year [2002] and Garett will be playing the character of "Nick Jordan", a gay detective.

Nick Jordan character description: Mid 30s attractive, intense and Caucasian. He’s a ten-year veteran of the police force and has been a detective for about five years with the last four in Vice. Jordan is very intelligent with book smarts that are self-taught and a keen insight into people. This makes him a natural profiler and he welcomed the transfer to Major Cases. He is quick witted with a dry sense of humor. Jordan tends to immerse himself in his undercover assignments, which eventually became a problem as he thought he was losing himself. Though he knew he was gay for a long time, he had never acted upon it at work until C.J. Hague came into his life. Despite the obstacles, Hague has gotten closer to Jordan than anyone in his life. Their current case however brings up some old demons for Jordan that could threaten the relationship.

Additional details will be forthcoming as they become available.

Moonridge Animal Park - Update on "Nova"

Debbie reports that Garett's wolf "Nova", recently had surgery to correct a problem with her teeth and jaw.  She's doing fine now and there was no sign of cancer. Her incisors were growing upside down and the roots were on top.  She had a jaw tuck and is doing great. She is doing great, feeling much better and starting to get cocky with the other wolves.  She looks a lot better too, only one snaggle tooth now that gives her character.

She also reports that the event planning is going well, and there should be photos for people to buy this year to have signed, unlike last year. Plus, the Park is planning to have someone make T-shirts on site while guests wait.

If you'd like to donate to Nova's upkeep in Garett's name, you can e-mail your donations to PayPal  in care of GarettMaggartNet@bellsouth.net,  or snail mail donations to:

Support Our Sentinel Helps Demon Under Glass

**************

Subject: SOS - PLEASE HELP Demon Under Glass

Ok, folks, time to fire up those fax machines and phones and break out the pens and paper!

SOS has been approached by Mark Everett, a production assistant on Garett Maggart's new project - Demon Under Glass - to help the movie find a distributor.

The movie is finished filming and is now in the editing stage and it's time to find the movie a home.  The Executive Producer of Demon, Ralph Lliteras, has approached two companies in an effort to find distribution for the film:

Little Pond Television
Hugh  Wright
2700 Colorado Ave. Suite 450
Santa Monica, CA 90404
Phone number (310) 255-4746
FAX (310)255-4800

The Sci Fi Channel
Ray Canella
Manager of Program Acquisitions
Address: The Sci-Fi Channel
1230 Avenue of the Americas
New York, NY 10020
Phone number (212) 413-5000
FAX (212) 413-6531

Everyone involved with Demon needs our help and support.  Without a distributor, Demon will never see the light of day, and all that hard work will have been for nothing.

So please - write, fax and call the above two companies, ASAP.  Let Ray and Hugh know that you're aware of the Demon project and that you're excited to see Garett and Jason Carter working together.  Urge them to purchase the film for airing as soon as possible.

If you're not familiar with Demon Under Glass, please visit their website www.demonunderglass.com and read all about this exciting project.

Questions?  Write to demonnotes@hotmail.com and the Demon Under Glass folks will be happy to answer them!

Moonridge Fundraising suggestions

The annual Moonridge Animal Park Charity Event is coming up.  Last year we raised right at $5,000 in *three weeks*.  This year, we've been given over four *months* to meet and exceed our goal.

  • Involve your friends and family.

  • Ask your employer and co-workers to become involved and support this worthwhile cause.

  • Hold auctions on Ebay with the proceeds going to the benefit of Moonridge and its animals.

  • Organize car washes or bake sales.  (Be sure to adhere to local laws when organizing such events)

  • Empty your pockets of change at the end of every day and put it aside for Moonridge

  • Sell your old fanzines and artwork

  • Hold yard sales

Be creative!!

Realistically--we could easily raise $8,000 prior to the event.  But only if we start NOW.

Get out there and raise that money!!

Nova and her friends are counting on you!!
